Upgrade Question

Hi, I am just about to upgrade to Leopard, I am a bit of a Mac newbie and the idea of upgrading and loosing my business files scares the ***** out of me.

However - I have 2 hard drives, all of my work files are on a separate (internal) hard drive to my current OS and system files, therefore I assume even if everything goes tits-up during the installation there is no chance of that affecting my files?

* Am using a Mac Pro which is only 2 months old.

upgrading to Leopard

There is a lot of info in the Forums about how to backup and the best way to install Leopard. MacFixit has a long article about how to do it (http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20071023091749337). Do a complete back up (using SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner) then install Leopard using Archive and Install.
