I have a Macbook pro 15 late 2011 4Gb RAM and want to upgrade the RAM to 8GB, which provider do you recommend buying? samsung, kingston, hynix?? My OS is Mountain Lion 10.8.3.

Most popular brands should be fine.

You need to ensure you buy 1333MHz RAM for your Mac. Here's a couple of links - you can find cheaper though:

• OWC 4GB stick
• Samsung 4GB stick
• Other compatible options

Buying 2x4GB would offer slightly better performance than a single 8GB stick:

For best performance, fill both memory slots, installing an equal memory module in each slot.

You can go to up 16GB of 16000MHz on the 15" 2011 models. It will run and post at 1600MHx too

Do you see a noticeable difference with the 1600MHz?
I personally didnt see any boost so I just returned it and got the cheaper 1333MHz.

Noticeable, not really but it does in benchmarks more so than anything. But due to price difference, why not get 1600MHz?

As far as 16GB from Crucial go, 1333MHz is more expensive than 1600MHz. The same holds true for 8GB 1333MHz and 1600MHz.

I use either the Corsair or the Corsair Vengeance model and vengeance is about 20USD more expensive.
