Sounds like you made a great decision for you.

Ageeed that the storage worries that people have can be over the top.

With iCloud Photo Library turned on etc I struggle to get beyond 20 GB (and I’ve got 128).

With the move to The Apple file system and the new photo format (I can’t remember its name!), 32GB is a way more healthier option than it has been for a while - especially in the era of streaming and large data plans.

Our phones are now becoming caching devices more than storage facilities!
I agree with this but wanted a 128GB phone just so that I could have offline access to nearly all my music and books. Stupid, really, when 99% of the time I've got wi-fi.

Tomorrow, though, I'm to go into hospital for a 4 day procedure and they don't have wi-fi; so, I'll be reliant on my offline playlists and whole albums plus I've downloaded some 50 or so books.

Good luck :)

I wish you the best on the procedure. :)

Thanks, it's just some extra chemotherapy on top of the chemo course I have completed.

Hospitals are boring places and I've found myself reliant on a smartphone for music, news, browsing, books - everything really.

Ye
The X is highly overrated imo. I have co-workers who have let me use theirs and I was not impressed. I gusss I expected more from a $1000 phone (more like $1400 after 256gb upgrade, Apple Care and Tax which is why I never bought one).
yeah I mean don’t get me wrong I like my X just don’t think it was worth $1k
