Upgrade SSD in 2013 2014 MacBook m.2 Adapter?

Hello!
I just found out that there are adapters out there to connect the m.2 SSD to the unique MacBook Pro PCIe adapter.

Unfortunately I cannot find and documentation or report of somebody doing it. Can anybody help and share their experience with it? Should be way cheaper than anything else.

Whether or not that will fit inside an MBP is a total crapshoot. It's probably gonna take some experimentation, as I've never heard or seen this done before and I've been in the market for upgrading a Late 2013 model (and a trashcan Mac Pro) for quite awhile.

It also doesn't support anything larger than 256/512GB or more than one or two brands. I don't see the reason to try this out.

Heard they are not reliable. Just get a SSUAX or SSUBX drive.

I need a job first to afford this. It is really a joke that I can get a non apple drive with standard connector for half the prices...
