Hello Everyone,

I am new here :)
I have macbook pro Retina Early 2015

I tried to upgrade Stroage
I bought a CRUCIAL company ssd
The following model:
CT500P1SSD8 M.2 P1 3D NAND NVMe - 500GB

And after I put it together, it just didn't work

I also have an adapter I bought from ebay this adapter

Would love to understand why it doesn't work and what needs to be bought in order not to be mistaken again?

Any advices to me? what can I do?

Have you read through the entire thread here?

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/upgrading-2013-2014-macbook-pro-ssd-to-m-2-nvme.2034976/

Is the Crucial listed as supported there? What’s the adapter model number?

(Sounds like wither an unsupported SSD or a bad adapter from eBay or even a bad SSD (it happens)). There are ways of testing the SSD and the adapter - plugging the SSD into a USB C enclosure that you know works, and getting another ($10) adapter and seeing if that fixes the issue. The thread above contains a variety of examples that work).

I dont know if it's comptable with my computer a1502 early 2015 13"

can you help me with that?

You HAVE been "helped".
Read through the posts in the URL listed in reply 2 above.
That will be A LOT of reading.
But you probably won't find your answer unless you read it all.

Everybody can help me? :)
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see this thread until now.

I purchased this style of Sintech adapter (but your style should work as well):

For the SSD, I am using the Inland Premium 1TB SSD - which works perfectly and is pretty fast in my 2015 MBP 15.

You did not say how it didn't work for you. I initially thought I had a problem because I could not get the screw hole to line up after seating the adapter. I figured out that the adapter required some force and audibly snapped into place when seated properly.

It has been working perfectly for a few months now without a single issue...
