I have the Developer Preview of Snow Leopard installed and am wondering if Apple usually requires you to purchase the retail set to get the updates or if you can just continue updating as normal past the Gold Master to get the subsequent updates (10.6.1, etc.).

It would probably be wise just to reinstall SL when the GM or retail comes.

432 may be the GM, nobody knows for sure.

Packaging is already in production while a declared GM is only days old. It is highly improbable that 10A432 is NOT the retail image.

Yes We Can!

If you have the Developer Preview that was handed out at WWDC 2009, then you cannot get the incremental updates (i.e. 10.6.1)without upgrading to the Retail Snow Leopard release (via DVD that you purchase or burn).

You can however, upgrade to the Retail Release without issue from the Developer Preview.

Just did it myself today! Enjoy!
