I have an old white MacBook OS X v10.4.11 (with a 1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor). But because a lot of new stuff doesn't run on it, like my new IPod nano, last Itunes version, last Skype version or Spotify (just to name a few), I wonder if it's possible to UPGRADE to a more recent version like 10.5 or even 10.6. Can I do that or it's absolutely impossible? Thanks for all the help!

According to the information you provided and comparing it to MacTracker, you can't go above 10.4.x with that machine.
