Upgrade your iPhone, who is going to do it?

    Unfortunately I decided to hold off on my iPhone purchase. Are any of you lucky owners brave enough to upgrade the 4/8gb hard drive?

    Seeing that it is solid state and not a hard drive.............not I

    It's a flash based drive.

    Hence, can't be done. Or it can be, at a very steep price.

    Im fairly confident that its possible.

    It's sautered onto the logic board?

    Look for disassembly pics, that should answer your question.

    But, honestly why? Flash based memory is expensive.

    You're fairly confident that it's possible but don't even know how to spell soldered? Give me a break.

    It's soldered to the logic board.
