Attached video of problem. can happen without warning while I'm working or not doing anything in particular. Have to Manuel reset by holding power. Getting Ghosted by seller.
Using NVIDIA Quadro K4100M by nikey22 4GB
Presuming it's a graphics card issue.
Want to see if there's something I can do before paying out to get fixed at the local.
Any help is appreciated.

2011 iMac?
It's got a failed GPU.

Now you know what the seller is "ghosting" you.

My advice:
Write off this one to experience, and get something newer.
Apple-refurbished would be your best bet, perhaps a Mini.

damn, unfortunatly i got this because it met my needed specs for work and was in my price range. I'm not really in the position to get something new... is there no way to fix or replace the gpu?

Perhaps it was just because of a wrong memory type when the previous owner flashed a hacked vBIOS for the GPU
You can try flash it with another ROM. If neither ROM is working, perhaps the GPU is bad. Consider replacement of GPU.

I'll give it a try, hopefully it can be salvaged. Thankyou
