Other Upgraded iPhone, what do I need to do before making my owd device new?

I think I just need to disable find my iPhone on my old device and it is ok to delete everything right?

I just want to make sure before I do anything.

1) Backup the contents of your phone to iCloud or an app like iMazing (if such is important to you).
2) Log out of iCloud on the device
3) Proceed to erase all content and settings
4) If selling device, make sure to remove it from your account
