The title says it all. I've been running a beta of Tahoe, and now that it's been released any new laptops will likely support only Tahoe and later.

However, Liquid Glass is so irritating to use (my personal opinion), i went ahead and upgraded to a Macbook Pro (14", M4 Pro) earlier than planned in order to keep running Sequioa. My plan otherwise was to wait until OLED screens were available on Airs/MB Pros, but what's the use of having a beautiful screen if everything is a blurry mess?

My $0.02.

You can turn the Liquid Glass off..
I know, but it's not complete. When i tried it on the betas, I wasn't pleased with the result. I also found the disparate corner radii jarring. It's easier to not upgrade my main laptop - if i really need to, i can install tahoe on a separate partition for Xcode and anything else that requires the latest and greatest.

I think the window radii is less important than a current OS with security updates. If the window radii was my largest complaint about anOS update, I'd say that's a good result.

But at the risk of appearing hypocritical, I haven't upgraded either yet as I usually wait for a .1, .2 or even .3 for stability reasons. But likely I'll go with the .1 here as the early reviews on Tahoe seem decent.

I did the opposite. I've been running Tahoe on my M3 Pro since Public Beta. It works well for me!
