Upgraded to lion - Quicktime problem

hey I just updated my macbook pro to lion and I can't get quicktime to play .avi files. I installed flip4mac and divX plug-ins but I still can't get it to work.
anyone know how to solve this ?

Reinstall the two plugins. I use Perian and when I upgraded, I had to uninstall and reinstall it for QT to play avi's.
