So I upgraded my mobileme calendar to the beta calendar and I have noticed 2 things I need some help with.

1) In the Mail app on my MacBook Pro I now have an additional todo profile. I can create todo items in mobileme and my mobileme email address. Only ones created in the mobileme profile actually sync with mobile me but items created in the mobile me email address show in iCal under a mail to do items calendar but that doesn't sync with mobile me.

2) I create todo items in the calendar beta in mobile me and they show in my iCal on my MacBook Pro but not in the mail app on my MacBook Pro

Has any one else noticed this. I reasonably new to mobile me and over the air syncing with my iphone and mac.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think what you are seeing is because of anything new in the beta. This is how it works pre-beta and I agree it is lame and confusing.

IMHO - ToDo's and Notes are very poorly implemented by Apple. They need separate apps for these or something... I would look elsewhere, I have.

Yes I should have said that on the same day I upgraded to the calendar beta i realised after having mobileme for for about 3 weeks that I didn't need to sync notes and calendars through iTunes.😕

So does anyone know any good alternatives I can use to sync a to do list properly. I was thinking about Remeber The Milk in conjunction with my Google calendar and tasks as I had heard good things about that solution.

Thanks

Have you tried 'Things' from Cultured Code?
