I wonder if anyone has had any success upgrading the iOS on an old iPod Touch. Currently running iOS 5 this unit is still functional despite battery being pretty shot.
I have a Spotify Premium subscription and would like to use this device to play music via a stereo but it is not capable of running the current version of Spotify so does not show up in my devices list.
If it did I could control it from my MBP desktop version of Spotify.
It's definitely not a total loss but limited.
