G'day,

My brother's Apple TV needs a new hard drive, and ideally I'd like to instal something with at least 500MB. (So - not SSD because they would cost a fortune at that size. I have a 2.5" 1TB MyPassport sitting around that may become a donor drive...)

Although it's been hacked with Firecore, an external hard drive isn't an option - my brother has Down Syndrome, and whilst he mostly does pretty well with the user interface, he twice managed to wipe an external drive's contents when I tried using one for additional storage.

From my research I gather I need a PATA to SATA bridge, but specifically one that will fit inside the tight space allowed. Most info on this that I've found is from circa 2007-2010, and I can't find those parts any more...

Can anyone suggest a bridge that will fit (without needing to dremel the case)?

Thanks
