For those who are like me going to upgrade from 15 PM to 16 PM, what are your reasons?

I will start:
- new camera button
- better battery life
- better processor and thermal management (no throttling)
- bigger display

But another main reason is because I upgrade iPhone every year and sell the previous. I think when I am selling one year old model I will get more cash then selling two years old phone. But every year there are nore iphones on the market and the market is too saturated so the price of older model decrease every year.

So what are your reason? And please do not write arguments like “because I can“. Because we all can.

Your logic is wrong. You will lose more money in the long run selling every year.
Of course you will get more for a 1 year old phone than a 2 y old one. But u have to sum the loss of 2 phones instead of 1.

A used 15pro now sells for about 800€ and a 14pro for 700.
So the loss is 300 in the 1st y and 100 2nd y. Which means you will lose 600 instead of 400 over the period of 2 ys.
Speaking of EU prices, but i guess the mechanics behind is no different in US

Your logic has good point.
I am from Eu country, I sell iphone every year mostly for 1050 - 1100 eur in average. But this year I think I will go lower.

But on other hand, I buy more new iPhones and sell them for higher price, so I mostly pay for the new model the price that I earned. BUT I could save this money..

Well if you want to have the newest there is no other way.
But also the most expensive.
This is the same for most products, especially electric cars atm.
