Upgrading from 2.2.1 to 3.0 help!

Greetings -

Here's the situation. My phone has v2.2.1 - Modem FW 02.30.03, its been jailbroken. I followed the tutorial on iClarified using redsn0w to upgrade to v3.0, that didnt work. So I restored the phone back to 2.2.1. Then I tried to downgrade to v2.2.0 - Modem FW 02.28.00 but received an error 1013. I've tried upgrading the phone from 2.2.1 to 3.0 at least 7 times but still errors out. Please help me!!!!

It's not clear from your post if you've ever tried to let iTunes update it to 3.0 yet. Have you done that? That should be how you start.

I've managed to fix my problem. I upgraded my iTunes to 8.2 & followed the iClarified tutorial. Im now good to go! 🙂
