Dear users,

I have a couple of questions before I upgrade to 4.3.3. First of all will the update change my modem firmware? mine is currently at 02.10.04 and will it be a big deal?

What tool will I use to jailbreak 4.3.3? My phone is currently jailbroken with greenpoison but I wish to update as newer games require ios 4.2 or above to play.

When I do upgrade will it be easiest to just restore as new phone in iTunes then update? or do I have to do something in Tiny Umbrella? my blobs are saved both on Cydia and on pc.

Windows or Mac>?

I'm running Windows, a mate of mine has just recently done the upgrade from 4.1 - 4.3.3 also, he used SnowBreeze. Would you say this is the way I should go about my iPhone 4 also? =]

The only reason to save your baseband is if they update the unlock to work with that baseband. Currently it is not unlockable.

If you don't really care about the unlock, you can just update normally. You don't need SHSH blobs since 4.3.3 is still signed.

Here's what I would do:

1. make a backup in itunes
2. list all your cydia packages and repos
3. restore in itunes to 4.3.3
4. jailbreak
5. re-install cydia packages
6. restore from backup
