upgrading from an early 2013 rMPB - GPU performance

    I really like the touchbar and the new keyboard on the new macbook pro. I'm wondering how the 3 GPUs offered would compare to the one I currently have, an NVIDIA GT 650m.

    Huge improvement over the GT 650M. The Geekbench 4 score for the GT 650M is 12723. The score for the Radeon Pro 450, the slowest of the new processors, is 37602.

    Yes massive improvements you should definitely upgrade.

    Massive improvement in both power and efficiency. Go for it!

    - Radeon Pro 450 - 10 CU - 1 TFLOP - 2 GB VRAM - 80 GB/s
    - Radeon Pro 455 - 12 CU - 1.3 TFLOP - 2 GB VRAM - 80 GB/s (+$100)
    - Radeon Pro 460 - 16 CU - 1.8 TFLOP - 4 GB VRAM - 80 GB/s (+$200)

    Improved for what ? It's not like you will buy a mac to game on it :/

    Applications can benefit from a GPU. Video work, photography, etc.
