I meant i just want a stable and reliable phone , and i hate to compromise to Android
to me , iphone 6 and iphone 7 almost the same

You think the ip6 and ip7 are almost the same?......all I would say to that is WOW!

dont be wow
For people just like me , i love my iphone 7 plus , for the deep effect mode , and larger battery , plus 256 gb storage
think like this , for an average guy , who use a phone to take photos , call and youtube , socials .what is the different ?

there might be , but the iPhone 6 still a great daily drive
All the things that are different are the differences. But, yes, iPhone 6 is still a fine phone, although that's separate from differences between 6 and 7.

Yes, which is why I passed my 6 on to a friend (after wiping it and removing it from my account of course). Also it was a replacement so the battery is in excellent shape.

IPhone 6 to an iPhone 7 is a good upgrade .. iPhone 6 to a 7+ is a very good upgrade (if you can live with the size)

I personally wouldn't upgrade a 6s to a 7 though, I'd wait until the 7s/8.

If you are using iPhone 6S plus, I suggest you not to upgrade. It is much more stylish than iPhone 7.

Well, something subjective as style is different for everyone. But it is interesting how some posts will talk about how the phones just look all too similar, while others will say that one is somehow more stylish than another, and all about the same phones.

I did and I'm glad I did.

I got a better camera, better screen, 3D Touch, "Hey Siri." and went from 16GB of storage to 128GB all for $100 or $4/mo. more on my Verizon bill. Definitely worth it for me.

Do you think i should wait for the 8 and buy a smart batterycase? Or Just buy a 7?

I don't know what you should/shouldn't do. I don't know you.

I won't be because I got a great deal on my 7, I won't be needing a new phone for a while now, it'll be longer than that because of backorders, etc. Finally, I tend to believe that iPhone models which introduce new hardware have more quality control issues and bugs, so since this fall's iteration is rumored to be a major overhaul, I'm less interested. That's just me though.

Wait for the IPHONE 8

Will be amazing im sure!

If all the rumors are true about design and the software/hardware updates then we r in for a treat!

Do you this it is worth to upgrade from a 6 to a 7?

To me, I'd say it's a huge upgrade because of the following reasons:
2gb RAM vs 1gb
7mp front facing camera vs 1.2
4k video with optical image stabilization
Stereo speakers

Not as important, but nice to have:
Quad core processor
No "physical" home button
Antenna bands are almost completely hidden
2nd gen touch ID

What about an iPhone 6s? It is probably cheaper second hand than the 7 is, and the performance gap is even smaller than the 6 and 7...especially for daily use.

Sell your 6 and recoup what you can towards that phone. I don't think getting a 7 right now would be the best choice but it all depends on your budget and how long you're planning on keeping it. I think 6s and 7 should be comparable when it comes to software support if you plan on keeping your replacement for many years.

I dont think it is considered an upgrade from iPhone 6 to 6S because for Asians if they wanted to upgrade there should be at least 2-3 years like iPhone 6 to iPhone X upgrade. Aside from looks, both are the same phone. Same breakable phone, easily shuttered glass, not water resistant, lacks hevx encoding, lastly both are below 2.1Ghz in processor witch is slightly underpowered

"aside from looks both the 6 and the 6s are the same phone"? This statement is opposite of the reality between those two phones lol.

I can see you mean well, and you are a very active poster on macrumors but - constructive criticism here - you need to learn a bit more about iPhone generations and how processors work before you give advice on them

also, no need to broadly generalize "Asians" in such a way. It has nothing to do with the OP's question, it has nothing to do with this thread, and it has nothing to do with my post you replied to... plus there are many people that self identify as Asian that may disagree with you; you don't speak for everyone who self-identifies as Asian.

Also, this is a really old thread. I'm sure OP found his/her solution.
