Upgrading from Series 0 to S6

So I picked up the red S6 during the current sale and it will finally replace my S0. I bought the smaller 40mm model and will be downsizing from 42mm. Has anyone made this jump and, if so, what were your impressions of the S6 compared to the OG AW?

My wife made that jump. Went from a 42mm to a 40mm. She has had no regrets. She likes the smaller size. She tried wearing my 44mm and felt it was way to big for her. She loves her 40mm. The series 6 is an impressive watch.

I like the extra screen real estate of the 44mm, not to mention I look stunning wearing my series 6. 😀 I don't think I would like going to a 40 mm.

I went from 42mm S0 to 44mm S5 on its launch day. Really like screen but I do feel it is slightly heftier than my S0

Can't comment on the size difference, but the speed of the watch will be shocking to you...!

S0 to S3 was like coming out of the Stone Age to modern times with regards to speed. Every iteration since then has seemed incremental.

S0 to S6 I can imaging is one heck of a jump.

I went from a 42 SO to a 44 S6. No perceptible difference in size.

Can't comment on the size difference, but the speed of the watch will be shocking to you...!

It’s shocking. The functions which took my S0 45 seconds to load are now instant. Size definitely feels smaller than 42mm, but it’s not a big deal.

My wife went from a S0 38 to a S6 40. Didn't wear the S0 much, but now wears the S6 all the time.
