Upgrading hard drive

My 120 G hard drive should be here Friday. Are there exact steps some where on how to set (format) the new hard drive up. I know how to install it but not sure where to go from there. Thanks!

Use the disc utility on the OS CD to format and mount the drive.

Format it to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). This should be the default though. 🙂
