Ok I don't know if this is the right section but there is like a hundred topic threads. Ok can you upgrade your macbook harddrive to a larger one at an apple store?

Since there are so many threads, search.

Buy one standalone and do it yourself. Then you'll have your old hard drive as an external... for FAR less money.

Yes doing it yourself is probably the better bet.

Since your new here, just a little advice.. Try searching first when you have questions. 95% of the time someone else has asked what your going to ask.

I'd also like to add in (before someone asks): No, upgrading your macbook's ram or harddrive DOES NOT void your warranty. They are both user serviceable.
