Upgrading iMac 21.5

im looking to upgrade my imac 21.5 where can i do so and what components can i upgrade

The only user-serviceable part is RAM. That you can easily do on your own but if you want to upgrade your HD, you can go to Apple Store and they'll do it for you but they'll charge you

Why do you think you need to 'upgrade' and for what purpose?
