iPad Upgrading iOS on 3rd Gen iPad

Hey all,

I've been thinking about picking up a 3rd gen iPad that is still running iOS 5.1.1. If I download the proper restore file for 6.1.2, can I restore this to the iPad via iTunes? Or, would it not work because Apple is no longer signing 6.1.2?

You'll only be able to restore to iOS 6.1.3 because Apple is no longer signing iOS 6.1.2.
