iPod touch Upgrading JB ipod touch 3g 3.1.2 to 4.0

As the topic says I want to upgrade my jailbroken ipod touch 3g 3.1.2 to 4.0 How would I do this without losing my JB apps? I used blackrain to jailbreak it btw.
