MP 1,1-5,1 upgrading MacPro1,1 to X5365

The MacPro1,1 is already running Mavs on an SSD.
I gather I need to update firmware to MacPro2,1?

I found some on ebay shipped from the US, which I'd prefer.
Can I just get 2 from the same source or is important that they be matched?
And what exactly is meant by matched?

The "T" handle 3mm allen key I used is 180mm long, 30mm of that is finger grip space.
Yes I used isopropyl on a microfiber to clean. Quality thermal paste is very important to lower CPU temps such as Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Paste. CPU matching I presume same plant and batch /part number. Yes update firmware to MacPro 2,1 prior to installing CPU's to support X5365.
