upgrading MB HD and RAM

HI,

I'm hopefully getting my first macbook this thursday if the new mac store where i live opens on time. I'm planning on getting the base model then putting in a bigger HD. thinking of this one

Will that one be ok and fit properly?

Also i'm planning on maxing out the RAM. Obviously Apple say it will only take 2GB but i've read on here that it can go up to 3GB is this true? if so i'll get 3GB.

Just to let you know. That ram you have there is not 667 mhz ram. Ever heard of Komplett? They have Crucial 667 mhz ram for 50£ for 2gb
