I have a 2012 MacBook Air and want to upgrade the solid state drive. I have seen Other World Computing mentioned on MacRumors before but never heard of them before that. Are they good and reliable? They claim to be faster than the stock drive and the one I am looking at has a 5-year warranty.

I bought an OWC SSD to use in a 2009 Macbook Pro 17, and it totally revitalized the laptop, turning it from unusable to a pleasure. I'm very glad I bought it. The included instructions and tools made the installation pretty easy too. I have always found OWC to be a class act. Of course I'm just one datapoint, but my one SSD purchase from them worked out well.
