Upgrading memory

Hello. Today one of my buddies gave me two Dell Memory chips. Both are 1GB.

Are these compatible with my iMac?

What model iMac do you have? For all we know it's an original Bondi blue! Anyway, any of the last several generations all require an SO-DIMM, not a DIMM so those won't work.

As that page indicates, the slots are for 200-pin DDR2 SODIMMs, not the 240-pin DDR2 DIMMs you have pictured so, no, they will not work.
