I've got 2 x 4GB Corsair DDR3 1333GHz (CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9) in my Mid-2010 MacBook Pro 15" i5. So far so good.


Any reason to get the 1333 over the 1066? The 1333 cost about 20% more here and has high latencies (9 vs 7).

Yes, you can still use it as 1066MHz. Your Mac will downclock it to match with the bus of your motherboard. Not so bad as it's still running on 7-7-7-xx latency.
