I know all the brilliant minds here will help me resolve this issue.

Here is my issue.

I have an original iphone that was jailbroke and unlocked using pwnage. It was on 2.1 but the phone started to lock up a lot and the battery was draining quickly.

When I plugged it into iTunes to restore it had to upgrade the software as well. As soon as it was done restoring I unplugged it so it wouldnt install that update.

The phone is on the screen that shows the cord and needs to be connected to iTunes. It is still unlocked because it is showing T-Mobile in the corner with reception. But it has the slide for emergency slider.

If I call it, it rings and i can slide to answer. Once the call is over it goes back to the slide for emergency.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks!!

did you restore it to 2.1 or 2.2 maybe you unplugged it before your iphone had any chance of installing a firmware?
