I have the unibody Macbook Pro 13.3" with 4GB of RAM (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz). I obviously didn't upgrade the video card, as it's not possible with the 13.3" (at least I don't think it is...). But anyway. I was trying to run Windows 7 within Parallels 5, and for some reason, it ran horribly. I gave it 2GB of RAM, out of the total 4. Then I tried 1GB, but that didn't seem to make much of a difference. I told it to only use one CPU core, because OS X will see one core is doing more work and put some of the load on the second more efficiently than Windows. So I was wondering if I should upgrade to maybe 6GB or even 8GB of RAM?
