I'll soon be getting a new MBP ( probably going up from my 1.8 intel MBP to 2.4 MBP ) -

Now I have tons ( and tons ) of **** on my computer - what I'd like to know is:

What is the best way to migrate my system without loosing all my setting, and yet still get a clean efficient OS on the new machine?

cheers all

Use Migration Assistant with Target Disk Mode to get all your data across. It's probably best to manually reinstall your apps and reconfigure your settings though... Migration Assistant can be a bit dodgy sometimes.
