friends, good day. question; i have a 1-2yr old 2.1ghz macbook pro (original). is it possible to upgrade the video card in that unit to that of the one that is being shipped with today's macbook pro? i believe they're using a much better card than they were when they first came out.

    thanks in advance!

nope...graphics cards are soldered on the the board. there might be a way to upgrade, but it would not friendly...and it certainly would void any warranty u may have left.

The only way to do that would be to replace the logic board with one that has another GPU. I doubt the new boards would fit in your MBP. Even if it did, the cost for the board would not be worth it.
