I'm currently experiencing issues with my MBP which means I am unlikely to be able to access my photos on the Mac for a good fortnight whilst I repair my computer. Once I do get it up and running I will have to upgrade my old iPhoto library to OSX Photos.app.
Due to the aforementioned issues, I am really keen to get my photos backed up onto the cloud. Am I safe to activate iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone and iPad in the interim, or will I risk any issues cropping up when I get the MacBook fired up. The only reason I ask is because I have had so many issues with iTunes and Apple Music.
