upgrading to IOS5 with an Ipad2?

Recently I tried to update my wife's iPad2 apps. One of them was Pages. When I tried to update it, I got a message my ipad was not compatible and that IOS5 was required. I looked all over, but don't see a place to ask for the IOS5 update. Could someone point me at it? I assume it's free.

Sync it with iTunes. Check for update via iTunes. And yes it's free.
