2 questions:

1. When upgrading, is it best to do the upgrade option or archive and install?

2. Does upgrading to Leopard give you iLife 08 or will I stay with iLife 06?

Thanks for your help.

Archive and install for best results, and Leopard does not come with iLife 08, you will have the exact software you have now on your machine.

1. Some say it is better to do a clean install. But the truth is that an upgrade is as good as a clean install.

2. No, iLife 08 isn't included with Leopard. If you do an upgrade, iLife 06 would be there. If you make a Erase and Install, you'll have to install iLife 06 from your Tiger DVD, if you make Archive and Install, iLife 06 would still be there.:)

If you had a computer built in the past year you would have iLife 08 on your Tiger Disks that came with your computer.

Thank you all for your help. I think I will do the archive and install. I also bought iLife 08 because I thought that was the case.
