I just got my very first Mac on Monday. It's a 13" Macbook Pro and I'm very, very, very happy with it. I haven't touched a Windows machine all week and I doubt I ever will again unless I have to for work. I have a question about upgrading to Lion though.

I recall someone saying that since I got my Mac so so close to the launch of Lion that Apple will allow me to upgrade to Lion for free. Is this true? If so how is it facilitated? I understand that Apple is moving to the App Store for all software purchases, but wil a free upgrade be done through the store with a coupon code?

Any help for the n00b would be appreciated.

You will probably get some sort of code for it and be able to download it for free from the App Store.
