Hi, I want to upgrade to lion. I own a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro with 2GB of memory running SL 10.6.8. Occasionally it seems a little slow. I want to upgrade mainly for the iCloud feature. Will lion cause me any problems? Is it a simply process? Should i add more memory? Also will Microsoft Office 2008 work on Lion?

Thank You

There would be no problems but I suggest you to get 4GB.
2GB lets it move but I say not enough.

I recently had to upgrade to 8GB since it was pretty heavy in a 2011 machine.

But as I said, it will move. Maybe minor lag but if you dont do heavy working, it wont be a problem. Cheers.

I would beef up your GB and you will be set. I have Lion and I love it. I would recommend it to everyone. It looks good on my laptop and it runs really smooth.

I've got a 2010 MBP 2.4 C2D, installed lion.
loving it but its seems to effected my battery a lot.
i only get about 4 hours now, whereas i used to get 6-7 on SL
