Upgrading to Mavericks OSx

Hi there ppl

anybody who have upgraded to Mavericks from Lion 10.7.5 (i guess) that culd give any feedback about the upgrading process , any issues, failures ?

i myself have a mbp late 2011 13" but can't see any reason to upgrade,

main questions:

1. do i lose any data(pictures,documents) by upgrading to Mavericks?
2. once installed Mavericks, can i installe Lion back to my mbp in case of regret 😛 ?

1. No.
2. Yes, by doing a Time Machine restore or a clean install from USB stick.

I did an upgrade from Lion on my mini. Apart from Mail throwing a bit of a wobbly.. now fixed... and my Firewire drives not sleeping its been smooth. A Time Machine backup should be the minimum. I also made a backup with Superduper!
