Don't worry if you're confused, its very confusing. Not many great guides out there that I know of either. Try this one for now: http://www.raywenderlich.com/2915/ios-code-signing-under-the-hood

Basically you need to set up not only your provisioning profile, but get all your certificates in order. Its a huge pain.

Here is some more reading material:

I have done all this, I only need to upload the file now. The problem is how to get the project and send it to Apple :)

Have you verified the code as well, it passes? Hmm.. do you have Application Loader, does that work? I assume you've also completed the uploading the binary section on the developer guide in iTunes Connect

Have you managed to get an archive in the organizer? Select the archive, hit the "Validate..." button, if it passes, huzzah, then hit the "Submit..." button and you should be all set.

If either the "Validate..." or "Submit..." button returns an error, tell us what the error is so we can help. (Or just paste it into Google. It's quite likely someone else has already asked for help with the exact issue.)

If you haven't gotten an archive in the organizer yet, then what have you done, exactly?

When I click archive, and hit the "validate..." button i get the message that "No identities are available for signing"

The same problems? Or different problems? The more vague you describe your issues, the less chance you have of getting someone to help you.

It's the same problem, when I click validate, I get a login screen, then I get the message that it cannot find any identities that is available for signing

Do you have any "Identities with out Provisioning Profiles" in your Code Signing Identity choices, as described in that stack overflow thread?

This is stupid. There are many dozens to hundreds of steps that one has to do exactly correctly to run an app and get the app in the App store. Too many to list here, or to play 20 question.

The OP needs to find all of Apples docs on this topic (there are several, on Apple's iOS developer page, on the provisioning page, on itunes connect), read and re-read them, and make sure they understand and have followed each of the dozens or hundreds of steps in excruciating detail. It sounds like the OP has not done this and is not interested in trying.

This type of developer may be too brainless or lazy to deserve to have an app in the App store.
