All day around NYC and NJ my upload speedtests were over 1000kb/s

So props to ATT for fixing the cap prob here.

They were that fast before the issue. Makes me think facetime over 3G is going to happen sooner than later.

mines back too but 1000kpbs+ but then i come home to microcell.......and its capped.

anyone have any thoughts?

Not gonna help. Microcells are not designed for data transfer. They clearly state that for 3G data the cap is 64Kb/s. Reason is the hardware of the Microcell is only capable of 256 Kb/s uploads.

really? that's interesting.

i never would have thought. oh well, sorry buddy! :) looks like you found your answer anyways.

Yeah I was surprised with my speeds the other day. I'm in north Louisiana.
