I have been trying to upload some data onto my public idisk website. The data is about 500 mb in size. I moved the files into the public folder in idisk and it copied over fine, however for the past five hours it has been at a stand still, giving me the message, "(closing file) please wait"
How long should it take to upload to an idisk folder?

thanks.

anybody??

Am I asking a dumb question or a question no one knows the answer to?

You are not alone in your frustration…

I have "complained" to Apple countless times and the last email (yesterday in fact) I received from them said:

This is a result of an intermittent issue with the .Mac service. Apple is working to identify the issue and expects to resolve it shortly. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

So basically telling us we're stuffed… This is not an intermittent problem. iDisk has never ever functioned properly for me. Ah well. I have now come to my senses and this is the end of the line for .Mac and me… it's been 6 years… but…

thanks for replying to my thread. It is nice to know I am not the only .mac member having troubles. However, it would be nice if Apple fixes the problem. This is one of the main reasons I bought a .mac account
