Anyone else experiencing this? Instead of end of day delivery it says date tentative now

Hopefully it changes back to Friday. Honestly, this is what sucks about dealing with UPS or FedEx. Had to do in-store pickup because of that.
 
Mine is too, I'm not worried about it. It either gets here the 21st or it doesn't. I'm imagining the typhoon over there has something to do with it.

Depends on the shipping origin. Hopefully its not travelling down the east coast USA where many of the roads are underwater throughout the Carolinas from the hurricane.
 
Same here, although it is still listed under Friday.

My guess is that it’s not really anything to worry about at this point. Although it would suck to get delayed, since I already took Friday off.
 
Did it for a little while this morning then changed back to Friday. Don't worry it's going to say a bunch of crazy stuff until it gets to the US.
 
Says on top of UPS website impacted areas and zip codes. Looks like day by day.
All Apple shipments will be effected in some way by the natural disasters and I am talking about the ones that have nothing to do with Florence. Now UPS may make things right but who knows at this point . Anyway it's just a phone so what's a couple of more days wait .

You seem very fixated on having these things show up late. This is at least the third thread on which you've been saying anything from UPS is shut down in China to other related things.
 
These things still need to clear customs technically, so any date is tentative until there's a clearance on file, which is probably why the date says tentative.
 
Mine was changed as well within the past hour but I attribute it calling UPS International because they put the wrong state on my label. Everything else was correct even the zip code (all info is correct with Apple and my receipt). This happened three years ago when I bought the 6S and even though they didn't change it, it arrived on launch day. Hoping my new Xs Max will arrive without a long delay.
 
Mine started to say exception when I changed mine to be delivered to the Customer center. It doesn’t show exception when I look at it on the web though, only on mobile.

This has happened every year when I changed to pick up at the local hub. No problem.

No worries I’m sure.

It may have just missed an original scan point along the line and the servers will adjust when it gets to a scan point where it will be back on track for a September 21 delivery.

I'm sure you're right. As another person mentioned it shows exemption on the mobile app but not on my computer.

Mine changed to tentative too. The customer service lady (who seemed to know what she was talking about) told me it was because I changed the delivery to pick up at UPS hub.
