Miami 305
Scheduled for delivery today before 4:45pm. It did not arrive. It arrived at a local hub last night at 8:45 pm and no more movement. Just got the rescheduled delivery for Monday. First time this has occurred to me on an apple device on a launch day. I did noticed my base configuration was available at 8 am today for in store pick up today. Who else didn’t receive their MBA today that had a scheduled delivery date for 7/15? BTW in Miami that local hub known is highly known for missing packages. Wonder if tomorrow more will be available at 8 am for same day pick up. BTW I live 10 mins away from my local apple store.

UPS has become terrible lately, I had a problem with an Apple Keyboard and Mouse that I ordered that ended up with a lady from the local distribution center (I think that is the term?) going ballistic on me over the phone. I just told her to shut up and hung up the phone. When my Mac Studio was delivered a few weeks earlier the driver was saying they just got a new computer system and it was terrible. I hope UPS gets the kinks out of their computer system as the competition isn't going to stand still.

Honestly, shipping has gotten less reliable lately across the board. My own experience is that FedEx is the worst and seems to be investing way too little into their infrastructure. I never see UPS or USPS using rented vehicles or contract delivery drivers. I’ve also had 3 overnight packages come late within a year from FedEx, which is completely unacceptable to me.

Obviously, the logistics are harder for them now, but they must figure it out. It’s essential to their businesses. Paying for a specific delivery time and not getting it is just very disappointing and in many cases unacceptable.

Lately I've just had my important deliveries held at the local UPS distribution center for pick up.

I had same issue - due yesterday now says due Monday even though at local hub this am.

Delivery has gotten less dependable in general, but this week is especially challenging because of Prime Day (and other major retailers having their own version). Mine was supposed to be delivered between 10a-2p (the usual time I get UPS deliveries) but it didn't show up until nearly 6pm.

Same boat as you all. Mine arrived at local hub Saturday morning at 0500 but they made no delivery attempt. Monday it is.

Just curious did you all have to sign for the package? Ups does not show the package as a Signature Required.
