i called ups i might get monday early delivery but still in alaska or eles i gt it tuesday

You seriously wasted their time? I know you're excited for the computer but until the delivery date has slipped past the projected June 4, IT'S NOT LATE and there is ZERO reason to bug UPS or Apple about it. It'll show up when it shows up, but right now it's still on time.

I can only IMAGINE if you had the same situation as my dad. He had a product coming from Best Buy, an open-box item. Apparently there was a traffic incident with the long-haul truck his package was on and everything on the truck was declared a loss. Now he needs to wait for UPS and Best Buy to settle their financials on the product before he sees anything.

Here is a true story of a UPS apple disaster. Back in the 80s ordered a new Apple computer. Back then they used to ship the keyboard, monitor and computer in separate boxes. Placed the order and almost two weeks later the delivery guy is here with a box, one box, the keyboard. Called UPS and was told the warehouse was robbed.

After talking between them and Apple they re-sent the missing items and about two week after that first box I got another box, one box.. It was the monitor this time. And when I called them they said the same thing they said happened the first time..

Two weeks after that. finally got the computer... This actually happened.

When you pay for UPS shipping, you pay for them to deal with customs. That means they are held accountable when they fail to do the job you paid them for.

Kind of. Actually, you paid Apple and Apple paid UPS. The shipper always pays for the shipping, even if the cost gets passed along to you. It's a subtle difference, but one with a distinction. That distinction is that only the shipper (Apple) has recourse against the courier for delays - NOT you, the recipient, even though you may ultimately have paid the fee for the shipping.

I will wait a couple more days and I will keep you people posted what happens

We will most likely be sitting on the edge of our seats awaiting word on the outcome. Or not.
