Wow, this is interesting. I doubt it's available to everyone, but I would upgrade to Premium if it meant I could. According to the UPS site, following your delivery is available when...

UPS My Choice® members can use the Follow My Delivery live map to view the location of select packages in relation to the delivery address. The package icon updates every two to three minutes as the package moves towards its destination.

Follow My Delivery is available for packages sent using UPS Next Day Air®, UPS Worldwide Express®, and UPS Worldwide Express Plus®.

I don't think the iPhones sent at launch are using any of those methods. But maybe since you said the email called the service a beta, it will be rolling out in the near future. UPS doesn't usually deliver to my neighborhood until 2-3PM, so that's the only guide I have, unfortunately.

Yes! I can see the truck about 50 minutes from me (even though I live 10 minutes from the DC), but it updates the delivery ETA throughout the day. Currently estimated at 3pm.

This might be a MyChoice Premium feature.

I just got a text and it is showing me too! This is awesome :):p:D

Well I upgrade my membership to premium, so hopefully I'll be able to track mine too. The promo code for the 4 months for $4 is BU8CV8EH3. Mine's still not showing out for delivery, so I don't know if I will work or not.

I think everybody's says 3PM.

Maybe. I have another package coming from Amazon that originally said 2-6p. I scheduled delivery on that for 2-4p. Typically, UPS doesn't come by my house until 4:30 so we'll see. I'm just happy I'm getting it today :)

OMG, thanks for pointing this out OP. I had no idea that this existed. Very cool!

oh boy I can see it now.. some fiends getting in their cars to go track down the UPS truck and try to get their packages immediately because they cant wait a little longer.

This "Follow My Delivery" is super! Not a premium feature.

Yes to above, maybe on UPS page also, but I found when opened the email from UPS. Click on the feature in second line or so I think.

I can see the truck on the highway a few miles away.
Will be so much fun to check in periodically.

UPDATE: Oh, no! He's going the wrong way! :p:Do_O

If I see the driver is near my house but know he won't be to my house for several more hours, can just drive to where he is and pick it up from him? Yeah, I now, extreme OCD.
