I finally received my shipping email yesterday. On Apple's order page, the delivery estimate is for this Friday, but on UPS it was scheduled for Thursday. Still got a few days, meh.

Then I just checked UPS to see if my phone has en route to Hong Kong or Anchorage..... no movement, stil staying firm in ZhengZhou...however the scheduled delivery has been updated to Friday instead... WHAT??!!

Anybody got screwed (even just for a day) like that?

Apple said Friday and ups promised earlier. Now it's in line with Apple. Logistics are tough with this magnitude. I am in the same boat. Mine was originally 10/4-10/10. I was supposed to get tomorrow with Apple saying Friday. Now mine is Thursday.

Keeping in mind the original dates, I hardly feel screwed

I have packages from UPS almost daily, and I track them regularly. They usually arrive in about 2 business days, even from some of the furthest areas of the US from me. Verizon shipped my phone yesterday morning, and it has barely moved, despite only being in Memphis, which is 8 hours away. I have a different UPS package coming from California, which has moved twice as far in less time.

Glad to see its not just me, Apple emailed saying delivery this Thursday but UPS showed this Tuesday, then Monday UPS said Wednesday and now it shows its being rescheduled again, been in China since it picked up Friday. So maybe they are holding to stay with Apples Thursday date.

I am in the same boat as you. Two phones were shipped yesterday but have sat in ZhengZhou since 11:30 AM EST yesterday. No movement since, almost 24 hours forward. I was hoping that it was just missing scans but there are too many people in the same position to all be missing scans.

One person's updated to show it was in Korea, where it'll head to AK and then to KY for distribution, but I haven't seen anyone else get updates.

I am unsure if they changed my delivery date as I requested the phones be held at my customer center when they get here, so they stopped showing me an estimated date.

Update: Still no movement on UPS but Apple's order tracking now shows a delivery date for Friday and it says "shipment in transit - delayed" next to the status. Losing hope fast :(

Whoa, yours is even weirder. It looks like your package was being delayed just to be delayed (rather than an updated route or something like that.) Mine just says In Transit in the progress bar up top and it's still green.

Yeah I was annoyed because I was supposed to get my 7 plus last Friday and they moved it to Saturday shipping. Then the phone got delayed so that it couldn't be delivered Saturday and I got it on Monday. Wasted so much time waiting for the damn thing.

Yup, same deal with me.

Apple said arriving on Thursday, UPS said arriving on Wednesday.

Then yesterday UPS updated and said Thursday delivery.

I'm assuming UPS had the capability to deliver on their date, but for whatever reason, decided to hold and line-up with Apple's date.

After waiting to get my hands on the phone since it was announced in the keynote, I can wait an extra day lol.

I am hoping to see some movement then tonight I hope and show a delivery date for Thursday since that what Apple emailed me the day I received the shipping email from them.

Mine shipped out Monday from China...it was in Anchorage AK last night and then this morning I checked the tracking and it went all the way back to Japan...UGH

My updates were exactly the same as described. If it comes next week, it is much better than the 10/4-10/10 estimate the apple order says. It looks to have departed Hong Kong so hoping for Monday - 9/26!

May not be UPS. more likely a China thing. Mine have sat for days in China before they moved. Once you get it out of China it will come fast.

Those things happen when items have to clear customs when being shipped to the USA. UPS will quote actually delivery time without adding in any customs or security clearances that must occur upon leaving CN or entering US. Apple knows the processes that the item has to go thru and calculate that into their delivery estimate.
