Is there anyone i can contact within apple, besides the 800 support number, to get a response and resolution?

I am out $1500 bucks

I am a victim of fraud and can NOT get any help from either apple or ups.
The phone is either lost or stolen and both conglomerates refuse to help in finding out what happened.

Order the new 512 pro max on day one for the 20th delivery.
First update from ups is Friday the 20th.. why so late, i dunno.. It states phone is in Hollywood, FL and out for delivery.
8 hours later, the update changes tp “processing at facility’. Then nothing (crickets)
The next day. Update readers ‘customer requests Saturday’ delivery but phone is now in Kentucky.. wif??

And that was the last update..

Ive called apple numerous times and get the same terrible customer service from 5 different reps. Keep calling doesn’t work :(
All saying i have to return the first phone before they’ll ship out a new one…
hello, i dont have the phone to return, but that does not matter. It’s set up in the system like this now.

Forget charge back.. gs Apple Pay does not play far either. They’ve denied me in the past, even when i gave them solid proof.

Any help is much appreciated.

Mine is the same - UPS has lost it at the UPS hub since last Friday.

UPS is worthless - won't lift a finger to help trace it.
UPS did say that after 72 hours, it is considered lost / stolen.

Apple was the most helpful - they will open an investigation.

After filing a felony police report, UPS finally finds it miraculously after 5 days.

Helped that the local UPS hub got a visit from the local law enforcement officer.

Now mine is on the way.

Calling UPS is worthless. The agents have to same info you have. It is Apple who has to get to the bottom of things. UPS is a valued Customer of Apple and they will make it right. UPS employees know what is in these boxes and the dishonest ones will steal.

Stuff like this seems to happen every year. Box shape and return address make it plainly obvious it’s an iPhone and there are plenty of dishonest UPS workers. Pick up in store whenever possible.

This happen to me 3 years ago. Did you try to redirect the iPhone to another day or location?

I tired to redirect iPhone to Walgreens ups pickup and it messed up the ups delivery and the phone was lost

Took me 3 weeks to get my money back. Waste of time and effort. But I have Amex so it’s was easy to file a dispute.

When DHL delivered my phone last Friday they buzzed my flat and said “hello love can you come down I’ve got your iphone here” 🥴

Apple and the shipper are liable not you unless they can prove delivery. I'm surprised that when my phone was delivered I didn't have to sign for it.

If you don't get a resolution, I would call your credit card company and do a charge back.

I have had this happen with other shippers including Amazon. Something somehow gets misdirected and they won't do ANYTHING until they have had a certain period of time to investigate and find it.... no matter that that might be a week after you were supposed to get the delivery. It sucks, but it happens.

We havent had to sign for iPhones in several years now. Used to be required or presign

Keep contacting both. I spent a total of 5 hours on the phone with both and finally got my phone on Monday. The box was sliced open and taped back together.

The box was sliced open and taped back together... the phone was gone I presume?

Crazy to see they generated a report for grand theft (or grand larceny) without physical proof that a crime had even occurred. Regardless of the matter, thankfully your phone appeared. Usually those things are gone for good once they do the disappearing act. Then again with phones being easily blacklisted, I don’t understand the point of stealing a phone to begin with. It’s essentially a brick.

HOLY SMOKES!!!THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSES PEOPLE.. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

And i will try to use honey instead of vinegar…lol

I agree ups is helpless and i think its moot. But will continue…
I have not been made whole by apple as of yet.. lets hope that changes!!!!

File a police report and see how fast UPS finds your package.

Mine was found 2 days after I filed it.

Felony investigation led by the local police made UPS "cough" up the phone.

Just got it delivered (5 days late).

Too bad I bought on Saturday so this will go back to Apple on their dime all opened up for sure.

Anyone can file a Police report no proof of actual loss is required in normal jurisdictions.

Yea easy to blacklist but there are many countries around the world that don't verify against a common blacklist. A stolen iPhone can be sold many times before some finds out it was stolen. Apple can blacklist it in their system. That's what they do with devices stolen from the Apple Store then it is truly a brick for the Apple Ecosystem.

This is true when it comes to lost property, however for grand larceny usually there has to be a level of proof of an actual crime before a felony crime report is taken, in normal jurisdictions that is.
